My guess is that they had the cue sheets for Scapegoat but didn't have the cue sheets for The Old Man Picked A Lemon. Yes, it's the same cue but that there aren't many people on the planet (and probably zero at Paramount) that would realize that those are the same cue. As for being...
I think the only thing that will guarantee is an absolutely irate response from the people who have already bought the individual sets that have portions of the music replaced.
I don't know what others expected but I just assumed that it would be that way. Some episodes might have a more changes than others but I think that, in the end, the amount of music replaced in the corrected S2V1 and S2V2 will be pretty comparable.
Yeah, I didn't even bother to look at BB's website to see what they were charging (let alone actually go to the store to look for it) because I knew Amazon would be much cheaper.
Wasn't the gap between S1V2 and S2V1 only about four months or so? I think the hub bub over the music replacement (and its probably devestating effect on sales) and fixing some of that is what caused the longer delay between S2V1 and S2V2.
Just because it doesn't matter to you doesn't mean that it doesn't or can't matter to other people. DO NOT complain if the whole series doesn't get released on DVD because Paramount desroyed their own sales by changing the music. I could be wrong but I imagine that this will be the last...
I'm sure that you're most likely right but that approach makes no sense because who is going to buy a show that they've never seen before anyway? Sure, people on message boards like this may take a chance after hearing a bunch of good stuff about a show but I don't think having a color cover on...
Like many others, I'll gladly buy this if the music is intact.
I guess they don't want all the kids to think it's in black and white. Of course that doesn't take into account that they were never going to buy it anyway.
