I agree with EW. I also wanted commentaries with the entire cast and crew on every episode and feature length documenatries about every episode and Joss Whedon should have delivered it to my house too. :) I can see a nerd fan wondering why the bonus disc doesn't have more but c'mon a legit...
Just to play devil's advocate, 24: Season One has a few instances of crew persons visible and that's supposed to be widescreen. I'm in the 4x3 Buffy camp but like I said devil's advocate. :)
Don't get me wrong, I'd much rather see the Previously Ons but the R2 discs are in the wrong aspect ratio. In my mind, the right aspect ratio is worth the loss of the Previously Ons.
They were shot 16:9 but always intended to be shown as 4:3 so the R1 DVDs are the correct aspect ratio. In other words, there's just wasted space on the sides that wasn't supposed to be seen if you see it 16:9:) I gotta say that this isn't too bad of a deal. While I own all seven season, I...
