Yeah, it seems safe to assume that Virgin's set is just a combo of the R2 set and the 1953 version of Titanic or Ghosts Of The Abyss. Afterall, Titanic's disc four barely has anything on it, what would a fifth disc have? :)
Since it was his last (as of now anyway) dive to Titanic, maybe Cameron is trying to put together a nice package and overall look at his time on the Titanic for that recent Discovery Channel show. Just a thought/hope. :)
OT, anyone picking up Cameron's Aliens Of The Deep DVD on Tueday? The IMAX...
I've been watching this thing since Sunday and I think some of you guys will get through everything on it before me *cough*John*cough*. :)
Normally when I watch a DVD, I go through the movie, commentary, etc. and then move onto the bonus disc. I'm doing that this time and it's killing me. I...
This thread is more fan-friendly so I figured that I would post it here. :)
Here's the list of all the people on the cast/crew commentary. There's 37(!) people on the track. Jon Landau and Rae Sanchini easily get the most time. Followed by Kate Winslet. Everyone else pretty much gets only a few...

That's as good of theory as any I could think of. I doubt we'll ever get a definitive answer about it though.
On a sidebar, I hated Batman Begins but the vast majority of the planet loved it so the odds are in your favor to enjoy it. :)
I always found it odd that Cameron didn't find out about J. Dawson until after shooting the movie. You'd think he (or one of the historical advisors) would have checked just out of curiosity.
That's a good point. Another time you can see that he truly cares for her is when he goes to find her and make sure she gets on a lifeboat. He stays on a sinking ship when he's got a seat on a boat just to make sure she's safe.
Granted, you could make an argument that he feels he's protecting...
There's more than those 6 scenes though. :)
I'm happy that there isn't a 'long' version of the movie. As great as it will be to see all the historical stuff that Cameron shot, most of those scenes would just stop the movie dead in its tracks. To me (and apparently Cameron if he isn't putting...
