I kept all the Spider-Man stuff except for all the What If? Books I’m not even sure how that happened. I carefully went through everything to be sure I didn’t sell things that were related to SM. Those slipped through.
There are ways to read almost any comic book now so that’s not a problem...
Thisis a good point.
I have many really old back issues of Spider-man that are pretty beat up.
Was the only affordable copy I could get my hands on.
Ive been slowly sending my early Amazings into CGC to get slabbed just for the purpose of protection.
My copy of Amazing number 6 came back...
I’m confused how you don’t see why that comic is valuable.
First appearances in a comic of a big character are huge. I think you understand this.
Harley Quinn first appeared in the Batman cartoon but that’s didn’t stop her first comic appearance from going through the roof in value.
Mike wow.
That will be a huge endeavor.
You’re going to need to know how many books you have.
What condition they are in.
If you’re looking for a quick and easy sale you will probably get 10-20% value in one bulk sell off.
I mentioned earlier in this topic that I had nearly 15,000 books and...
I just read that run using Hoopla.
It was surprisingly dopey and it’s amazing that they were able to make an engaging and intelligent story from this in the movie.
I collected Astro City for a long time as they were released.
That is such a great comic book.
Wow this topic.
I don’t have nearly 15,000 books anymore.
2 years ago when we moved and buying a new house I sold a ton of my books and the hundreds of action figures I had.
I kept everything that was a Spider-Man book and figure and a select group of books that were considered important or I...
I'm considering selling so I need to know what I have. What I spent is so unimportant to me, I don't care. I had a ton of fun buying, reading and hunting down the issues I was missing over the years.

you"ll see in those lists that not only did I read a lot of books but since I worked at a store and got a giant discount, I bought multiples with the expectation of one day selling them. Oh well, its not as easy as you would think to sell.
Here are links that should go to what i have catalogued so far. let me know if it doesnt work. Sorry for the 35 seperate links I couldnt figure out another way to post them. https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkBwiNyGCOtGdEdDUHRNNFZvcWlWM3Z0bTJYSmlzM0E&hl=en_US...
I have Hulk 181, and glanced through it a couple weeks ago. I love being able to do that. The word slabbed is a perfect description of these books that are put intomthose covers. They are essentially dead and buried in there. I really doubt that htose books I lost would have survived, I couldn't...
I'm strongly against the cgc grading. It promotes buying a comic in a sealed portable vault and I would never do that. No matter the value of a book I want to be able to handle it and the whole thing just seems like a way to scam people into paying much more for a book then it is really worth...
Many of those New Universe books were really good. I started collecting and reading in the late 80's. Bought just about everything and was in the store so much they hired me and put me to work. Might have been the best job I ever had. I worked with people who liked comics and the customers did...
