Most certainly. Hope it comes true.
El Corazon y La Espada is one that has intrigued me since you first mentioned it in 2013. I look forward to contributing and watching it one day in the not too distant future.
I see what you did there.
I'm also hoping for Taza, Son of Cochise sometime soon. I'd like to do the Rock Hudson 3D Western Double Feature some day. I know Taza hasn't been officially announced, but I'm still hoping.
I'm watching Jivaro this weekend along with 3 other 50s 3D movies. Likely Inferno, Miss Sadie Thompson, and Revenge of the Creature. Looking forward to it.
May we inquire as to what might be next in line?
I'm surprised there hasn't been some newer version of the old Field Sequential systems updated for modern TVs myself. A simple box you hooked into the player and TV with active glasses. Gave very good 3D, too. You would think someone would have figured out how to make something along those lines...
Bob, two questions and a comment:
Question 1) Is a Kickstarter a possibility for Flight to Tangier?
Question 2) How much longer does Olive have Money From Home?
Comment: Watched Sangaree the other day. It looks incredible! Congratulations on another fantastic job!
Tough, tough, tough. Overall I would say Rarities just for the stuff I never thought I would see again like Marciano-Walcott and the Canadian shorts. Cease Fire was amazing visually and audially. And I hold a special appreciation for getting to see Gog look like new. I also need to give a shout...
This mystery western makes it 21 Golden Age features either already released or announced. For those keeping track:
Warner-3
Universal-3
Twilight Time-5
3D Film Archive-10 (not counting Universal)
Not too shabby. I will take it.
My hope is that Bob and company have managed to strike deals...
No no no. If it was The Stewardesses, only the boy would be awake. Everybody else would be asleep. It's obvious that they are watching Friday the 13th Part 3.
Unless WB decided to work with the Archive finally or licensed a title I think it's Adam and Six Eves, too. Wouldn't be my first choice but I'll get it regardless.
Any chance of getting another distributor for the title?
As to the "lesser" titles the 3-D Film Archive is working on, let me say precisely what I mean to say. Yes, they are both pretty bad. A*P*E is the sort of movie you threaten little children with if they don't behave. The Stewardesses is...
The person who asked the question specifically stated to leave out the current wave. I have not counted IMAX as I'm not sure exactly how many of those there were. Just for these purposes, narrative fictional 3D movies that were theatrically released. I agree that including the current wave, IMAX...
The question referenced non-porn mainstream films thematically released. I did a basic count and came up with--not counting foreign films--roughly 84 released between 1922 and 1997. I'm hoping that's accurate.
A question was asked of me that it occurred to me I did not know the answer to, and I'm not sure if anyone really knows. But, not counting the current wave, just how many 3D movies are there?
Speaking of anaglyph, I picked up the Best of Burlesque two disc set from Something Weird with the 6 anaglyphic burlesque shorts. The Dance of the Blonde Slave Girl's Revenge looked about as good as the 16mm I have of it, with decent (if unspectacular) 3D. The same can be said of Madonna and Her...
