I did some checking just to see how my memory was. 11 and 12 were announced about a month before 9 and 10 were released. So, we're currently in the normal range to hear something. However, 11 and 12 did get bumped back a month for some reason, so maybe that's a factor in not hearing anything yet.

I don't recall 11 and 12 being announced until close to the release of 9 and 10. If those two come out and we haven't heard anything, then it would be strange.

Yeah, my "Delivery expected Monday June 27" package was delivered yesterday morning. So again, Target pushes the Delivery date out and makes you feel good when it arrives early. It was straight UPS, though. No handoffs, which probably helped with the delivery time.

Mine have also shipped. ETA of Monday, could be sooner. Target's always good about shoving the estimated delivery date out farther than they need to so you feel good when packages make it to you early.

Ah. Okay, that explains it. I would guess MPI and other companies figure there are so few CRT TVs left that pillarboxing wouldn't be a huge issue. Though with material like this aimed at a demographic who would be most likely to still be hanging on to a CRT, it's surprising it wasn't considered.

They're almost certainly pillarboxed. Meaning, the discs are authored at 16x9 with the complete full frame image in the middle with black bars on the side. So when your TV is set to widescreen, the image comes out correctly. When stretched, you get the black bars all around. It's a method used...

Target ships as released. I've done orders with them during sales, received what was in stock, and had preorders ship a couple months later when released. In fact, my one already released item arrived today from my order containing the Ozzie and Harriet sets, which will have the first two...

I got away with them all at just a shade under $16 each. The four sets and two TPBs that were $20 each cover price. So it was a decent price for everything. My order for S1 and 2 is already at "Preparing to ship", too, so if I happen to get my stuff before everyone else I'll slap some pics up.

No, I was the last holdout, because I had to find the right combination at Target. But, Marvel Knights Black Widow and the upcoming Black Hammer volume 6 padded out the order to get all four sets ordered at once. I do hope they keep pumping them out two per release on a monthly basis.

For the budget conscious among us, Target's having their B2G1 sale this week, and all four sets are part of it at this time. Granted, that will only take care of three seasons, but it's supporting the releases and getting a whole season essentially free.
