We each have our own Apple ID for icloud, mail, messages FaceTime and use a third one for buying apps & iTunes. You could do the same with just 2 Apple IDs -- separate IDs, but use only one of the two for purchases.

Yeah, the one CC thing is fine, but I'm pretty sure I hit the "free apps don't support "Family Sharing", which leads to weird and inexplicably difficult to fix download problems." At home my wife and I simply use the same Apple ID for all purchases on all devices, and that has been problem free.

Stopped by my local (UWS) Apple Store: they have iPad Air 2s in stock (big pile of boxes), WiFi only. Cellular? "Late this week or early next week". So, back to hitting refresh on my order status I go. But, anyone who needs a WiFi iPad, go to your Apple Store (especially if you are in NYC).

Agree with every word. Unfortunately, to me iOS 6 to 7 UI redesign falls in that category as well. Maybe promoting Jony Ive and firing Scott Forstall was a great personnel decision for Apple and made for a happier and healthier work environment, but I liked Forstall software design approach...
