Interesting thread. I'm still not on board with the idea because of way too many experiences with rude patrons and having to move. Restaurants and performance theaters with reserved seating tend to attract more well behaved people. Also my movie attendance tends to be more spur of the moment...

The day my theater goes to assigned seating is the day I stop going.
