The picture quality is good not great, the film is meant to be gloomy to begin with, the only bit of sunshine is at the very end before the credits. I liked it a lot. The sound is great, didn't think this 22 year old film would have so much clarity in its soundfield, they really did a good job...

Nice review Scott. Another film I've never seen in widescreen, so I'm really looking forward to having this. No extras, oh well I'm just happy to have Dragonslayer released on dvd with good picture and sound. The 'go-motion' effects were state of the art at the time and still hold up today...
