There are a lot of commercials that are really slick now. Suck you into watching, yet have nothing to do with the product, but the last 10-15 seconds they'll slip in something about Geico or some other company. At first I thought they were kind of cute, but DVR everything so now the FF button...

I may have to watch for this one. I rarely watch commercials, thanks goodness for the DVR and the FF button. Never even watch shows live, I'll catch up the next day, week, month, whatever fits my schedule. The ads that drive me crazy have all kinds of special effects, look like a movie preview...

Thankfully nothing I will ever have to hear. I gave up on radio 10-15 years ago, strictly CDs of my choice since then. Only catching a few TV commercials now because of a DISH issue, but once I decide on the best solution, back to the DVR and the FF button.

Kind of creepy, but I enjoy the latest Progressive Insurance ads with "Flo" and her family around a dining table. Not sure if they're pulling a "Nutty Professor" thing where she plays all the characters, but I keep watching, which is obviously what they want.

Loved it. The one drawback to DVRs, I fast forward through all the commercials, so miss the gems like this.
