Scooby Doo Seasons 1&2......the first episodes of Season One are missing their original instrumental opening theme, in favor of the familiar theme song. Also, the end credits on some of these episodes featured an instrumental song.

Season 2 of All in the Family is missing the "From Studio City in Hollywood" voice over before the opening credits....Season One includes them.

I wouldn't count the disclaimer as a cut. It was inserted by the network after the print was shipped to CBS.

I just think it boils down to the people at the Studio not knowing what they are doing.....same that happened with Roots...the footage exists, but are they smart enough and do they care enough to find it.

Two episodes of Soap were taken from cut syndication prints, and a couple of other episodes are missing songs sung by the characters. Also, one episode is missing the recap at the beginning.

Roots has been edited.....looks like it was taken from a syndication print or a re-run. It was originally 8 episodes and each episode had opening credits superimposed over action that helped to tell the story....missing on the dvd. The dvd is also missing all of the original end credits...
