Press Release SPHE Press Release: Columbia Classics 4k Ultra HD Collection: Volume 4

Of course, having now pulled the trigger at $140, I fully expect Amazon's price to drop to $107 within a week.

Press Release SPHE Press Release: Columbia Classics 4k Ultra HD Collection: Volume 4

Amazon finally dropped their price to $191.33... but I opted for DeepDiscount, where it totaled out at $140.01 after the DEEP10 discount code, tax and shipping.

Zavvi is selling for $168.99. They list March 4 as the release date, so you'll have to wait a couple more weeks for it, but at least there is a discount!

I'd second many of those on your list. An upgrade of Bugsy is long overdue, but it's technically a Tri-Star title so Columbia may/may not consider it as part of their 100th anniversary celebration. Private Benjamin is Warner Bros.

For 22 hour-long (45-minute, anyway) episodes, I'm guessing it would have to be at least 2 UHDs: If it were BD50s, there would generally be 5-6 episodes per disc, so 11 episodes per disc on a BD100 would seem about right. They'd have to compress the hell out of it to fit it all on one.

I was hoping for Tootsie, but they went with a different Dustin Hoffman title. I wouldn't be surprised to see standalone releases of Tootsie and Funny Girl as part of their 100th anniversary celebration. Or maybe they'll be in volume 5.

Kramer vs. Kramer in Atmos? Sick. :3dglasses: I'm sure I'll probably end up buying it anyway, but (to put it mildly) I was not a fan of Punch-Drunk Love.
