Yeah that'll work, that's exactly what I do...my PS3 is strictly for movies and multi-channel concert videos and my Oppo BDP-83 is for SACDs and DVD-A's but is set up for 2-channel only using the analog outs. I'm not a big multi-channel music fan but will definitely give it a spin...
