Its not inappropriate. All films starting with Its a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World in 1963 that were promoted as being "In Cinerama" were filmed in 70mm and had the Cinerama logo on them. Only five of the twenty 70mm titles promoted as being "In Cinerama" were filmed in Ultra Panavision. I think...
I was wondering if it would play at the Cinerama Dome. It would be a perfect fit with its 32 by 86 ft screen. That's where It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World premiered in Ultra Panavision 70mm Cinerama.
Tarantino is saying they have 100 theatres equipped for 70mm as of July. Also, he says that Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One is being filmed using Ultra Panavision 70 lenses - (maybe only part of it?)
