Undercover Girl, which Kino released as part of a Film Noir three disc box-set, has very good picture quality.

I also want that film in my collection and I'm sure a lot of other people do too. Julie London's really good in this.

I hope very much that Kino will be able to release Mister Cory on Blu-ray disc. This Universal title has never been on a legitimate disc, which is strange because it's an early Blake Edwards film with a high-powered cast.

I couldn't care less about if it's film noir or not, but it's a fascinating film and a bargain at $9.99.

Curiously and co-incidentally, I watched both A Man Alone and Lisbon as a double bill last week.

The Kino Insider has already - several months ago - informed us that they did not renew their license because the original disc took so long to sell out. It looks as if you'll have to buy that disc second hand.

There's also the issue that people say they will buy a disc and when it comes out, wait until there's a sale a year or so later.

If you re-release only previously released titles in a new box-set, why not? However I would object very strongly to a new title being locked into a box-set with titles I already have, and I know many others will agree with me.

I hope there's more to come because I'm still waiting for The Hell With Heroes to be released. It was announced months ago, but I've heard nothing since then.

I've never had a problem with Kino discs either. I'm mystified that anyone could have the same problem again and again.

Not just your two cents. I did exactly the same as you concerning The Maltese Falcon and I still watch the DVD with no regrets.
