It's going to be rough going if people ask their friends which the like better on a 65" panel at seven feet, as it makes virtually no difference.
4k has no viable reason for being on smaller panels.
Projection, and by that I mean at least 9-10 foot screen is the only reason for 4k to exist...
Problem is with moving grain, which takes on an appearance similar to that found on the Blu-ray of It's a Wonderful Life.
The top machine (I'm told) allows you to shut down noise reduction, but the price is high, and it's not a home theater unit.
4k is an interesting conundrum.
While players may be coming, and there are some nice looking flat panels arriving, the main rationale for 4k is projection.
