I have never stopped purchasing iTunes HD digitals after they have been released on Blu-ray by WA. I bought the WA Blu-ray in March 2020. On July 26, 2022, I purchased the iTunes HD digital for 4.99. Like several Warner titles in my iTunes digital library, it didn't propagate to...
I just thought it was strange that you made a post about the UK getting another "Viva Las Vegas" Blu-ray release in this particular thread which is in the streaming area in which they're comparing digitals to Warner Archive Blu-rays.
Not really, obviously, somebody at iTunes jumped the gun by about three months when the 4K disc comes out. The same thing happened with "The Wizard of Oz". I kind of expected this to happen once I read Bill Hunt's reporting that the release date is in September. It's very unfortunate, but, it...

Hey, believe what you want, but I know differently as I bought several Warner titles on iTunes that have since been released on Blu-ray by Warner Archive.
They don't get updated at all on iTunes, Vudu or any other streaming service. If they're Warner Archive titles, the digitals on those services are from an older master. The only Warner digitals that are derived from new masters are those movies that don't have the "Warner Archive Collection"...
