It's definitely nice to have it. I'm not saying that it isn't. Some of the other B&R episodes have the B:TAS intro on it though, like House & Garden.

how come they used the Batman & Robin intro on a bunch of the episodes on the last 2 discs? they couldn't find any prints with the B: TAS intro?

They were going to do a JL/TT crossover episode, but they couldn't decide which show to do it on so it never happened, which is probably for they better since it would have totally messed up the continuity then.

It is in the same world, despite the different style and tone. Batman has made reference to Robin being with the Titans at least once that I know of.
