Great New Yorker article. Has anyone else actually seen Sour Grapes? I thought it was pretty good, and for $5 on DVD it's a no-brainer. Too bad it's 4:3 (not sure how it was filmed) and 2-channel.

I enjoyed it. Larry swallowing the pill dry was hilarious. What's the etiquette with the hand shake right after a sneeze? I thought LD's move was justified.

Plus it's on HBO2 (and then HBO2 west) the next day. Then repeated throughout the week. Many many opportunities to catch Curb.

Definitely the weakest so far. The great "It's like eating a delicious sponge!" was given away in the promo, and "Fuck Hugh" was probably the best of the whole episode. But that's about it. Why would the son be swimming naked at a pool party anyway?

Oh my god, tonight's episode was great. One of the best I think. Great ending. I can't believe how insane that woman was who said Larry was following her. Larry freaking out when he spilled the cranberry juice and then going "time is of the essence!" was hilarious.

It was hilarious when Larry was trying to convince Cheryl that the restaurant was a good idea and they could make a lot of money and Cheryl's response was great, "Oooh I hope so!"
