    Zack, My apologies for misreading your post. When you put it that way, then YES, restored B&W versions of the Stooges are comparable to remastered (but not remixed) CDs. :emoji_thumbsup: :emoji_thumbsup: No DTS = No sale! :angry: :)

    Kurt is right. Most CDs need to be remastered because they never sounded as good as the corresponding vinyl. Remastering a CD makes it sound more authentic.
