TMG overall has good releases. Once again, the old adage "garbage in, garbage out" fits. It all depends on the elements they are able to acquire. For the most part, they put out good to very good DVD's. Recent releases such as Peter Gunn and Yancy Derringer have been excellent, in my opinion...

My mistake then, after reading another thread, I was led to believe, that FOX was holding the rights.

Probably can't get it licensed. Timeless has had great success with licensing Universal/NBC, other studios, not so much.

Laramie, Season 2 now on the shelves at my local Sam's for $19.98. Have watched one episode, quality is good, not great, but good, and the original opening credits, at least I think the original, (drawing of cowboy on street, not the more familiar riding scene with Robert Fuller and John...

"The Lawless Years" stands out too, except that they released season one, and stopped, not a "Best Of" release.

Has anyone been able to find "Going my Way", or "Wide Country" @ Sam's. I go every week, and never see it.

I'd go with this, after all, Timeless went back to find the "missing" Whispering Smith episode, then re-issued the DVD's with the episode found in the Library of Congress.

TMG is releasing so many great old time series, so quickly, that I can hardly keep up. But this is a GOOD problem to have. :)

Nice to see that TMG is so committed to bringing us everything they can from the 50's and 60's. I will echo Gary's sentiments, they are killing my wallet as well.

Was at 2 of my local Sam's in the last 2 days, alas,. none of those shows have arrived yet, but I will keep checking, as I especially want The Men from Shiloh.
