A big no to silly Pazuzu heads popping up in expected spots on the screen. Am I misremembering that there was one on the hood of a stove? Eek. "Where can we stick the head in this scene to make sure folks see it?"
Those aside, there are other things I find appealing about the Director's Cut.
The 4k screen grabs presented here do not in any way reflect the film I saw in the theater (numerous times), and are not a version of the film I want to see.
Except for the extra scene of Merrin and Karras on the stairs, the DC is bollocks.

I saw the film upon initial release. The image seemed quite grainy, bluish, with toned down color. I am thinking of the scenes in Regan's bedroom where it was freezing. It was also freezing outside the theater, in the 20s if I remember, in February in New York. And the line outside was at least...
