Wow, Paul! Balance of Terror and Devil in the Dark are known for being some of the better shows! I'm starting to think that TOS is not for you. That being said, I still think much of the first season Trek was finding it's footing and is much more consistant in the 2nd season.

I don't know how I can call myself a self-respecting Star Trek fan and not buy this set along with an HD-DVD player to go with it. I hang my head in shame! Very jealous of you folks!
