The last time I saw Vertigo theatrically was in the late '90's at the Ziegfeld in NYC. It was the premiere of the then recent RAH restoration. The picture was B&W up until just about when the title "VERTIGO" appears on the screen. Then the color is faded in. RAH knows about, and has commented...

Would you happen to recall whether or not the pre credit sequence is in B&W? The previous release had the color come in too soon. Not a deal breaker, but they've had enough time to make this right.

Can't wait to hear a review of Creature 3D. Hope Universal fixed the beginning of Vertigo. The picture should be B&W until about the appearance of the title.
