My suggestion. Just get an Oppo multi-region player, unlockable region free goodness with the remote due to code punching thing, and research DVDCOmpare.net, occasionally DVDBeaver and other comparison sites. Going region free has never been better. Well, as long as the budget allows it.

Remo Williams is anamorphic from Japan... Go region-free. There're hacks for DVD players and DVD-ROM drives online. Only problem is finding the good prices and such. Also helps to know about sites such as DVDCompare.net.;)

Hey, there's already a Region 2 Japanese NTSC anamorphic version of TRUE LIES. It carries a DTS track and a short featurette. More people should find region hacks for their DVD players and start to import DVD's.

True Lies has anamorphic editions from Japan and Korea. I suggest the Japanese one since it carries a DTS track and a 25 minute documentary. I'd rather wait for a two-disc release for TRUE LIES with oodles of extras. As for The Game, I'm waiting for the Special Edition to be released on NTSC...

Go region-free. Right now I'm sticking with releases which are mainly NTSC and a few PAL. It's all about the quality of the TRANSFER, not more image resolution!

It appears Force 10 From Navarone does have an anamorphic release from Region 3 and is NTSC. It's a bit pricey though at $22.49 from yesasia.com unfortunately.
