OZ showed up and it's the correct one. Also, that note on amazon's listing has disappeared. And it's $17.99 now. There aren't anymore for $12.99.
Oddly, I also ordered a DVD movie from a place off ebay called importdvd and it was actually deepdiscount. Ain't that sneaky! They get my...
DD makes a grown man cry. Outside of amazon, they lost my business. Prob for good.
I noticed that notification too. I ordered one for mom at Christmas (not DD, direct from amazon) and she got the right one. They have 3D equipment, the cheapest you can buy, but she loved it that way. ...
Well, I picked up Oz 3D at the last minute. Deepdiscount's amazon marketplace has a few now for $12.95 + 3.99 (about $17 w/tax and all). I hope they don't screw it up. At least i have amazon to help me if they do. But how can I not go ahead for $17?!! Can't wait.. Are there any safe drugs...
I had something else in there when I first signed up. But changed it to the proper quote to match my AV. I origanially had "Real name: Rev. Arthur Belling Vicar of St. Loony Up the Cream Bun and Jam." I love that piece with Graham Chapman.
I know this isn't the thread for it but... since it's Monday this might be needed. Tear inducing laughter material right here...!!
(And Happy Birthday to that fella in my AV Michael Palin!!!!!)
The thing I like best about my AV is how he looks to the left like he's checking out...
I hate it but I've got to pass on Oz this time. I'll get it the next go round. I still need to get 3D equipment to watch it on. :(
It was actually Terry Jones who mostly played the organ nude. Gilliam did it at least once. I don't think Palin ever did it. But he does reveal his behind in...
plastic people in that Last Starfighter. :( very disappointing. not sure if the DVD is the same but I'm sure it is. I've watched it once and was just disgusted with what was done. First one I was ever bothered by. I even had no problem with Predator.
Oh! And it's 3 discs. Nice set for disaster movies fans.
I picked up the older Poseidon Adventure for $5 during foxconnect's recent sale. I was thinking... Hummmm... this film, with Earthquake and Towering Inferno... are you kidding me? That would be an awesome set! Don't know if it will...
They had that Grease blu (or was it DVD?) clothed in a leather jacket/wool sweater, they should really wrap the FGT blu in plastic wrap. I mean... really they should... :p
Ouch... that's a biggie. If you're like me you had at least some of the vhs episodes, and most of the 2 eps DVDs, and several of the season sets of DVDs. ... I truly think 3D old Trek is next to get us to buy it again. :D
I just noticed someone paid $35 for the Fat Albert cartoon set. I...
Bolt List o' Huge! Slab Beef Chunk o' List! ... etc etc
This morning the news was telling me that Black Friday is just an illusion and I could have gotten the same price last week. I guess I missed it when Trek TOS blu was $69.99 last week...
they keep tapping me on the shoulder with that Westworld.
Was hoping for a 2 movie set on that one. My tightwad side is wondering if Futureworld will hit sub-$10.
I just bought the DVD of Dracula with 2 other flicks for $7.99. If the above set included those 2 other flicks as well at that price I'd certainly have it. :p
Lords was ho-hum... gets a little better in the final half. I felt the radio station scenes were emphasized too much. There was better stuff going on back at home. ;) I'm a fan of Zombie's films, but this is among my least favs.
