Mine had those fun plastic balloons to hold all that Beav in place. I miss my old dogs Bear and Goldie, they LOVED all packing material that would go BOOM! Bubble wrap was suddenly like Christmas. My current kids, Scooter and Honey don't know how to have fun with that stuff. @ William. I...
So, the Bradys didn't have a toilet but the Cleavers did. Cause Beav and Wally kept that cute little gator in the tank. This is going to be a heck of a ride. I'm wondering when I'll stop getting misty when that theme song plays.
That's probably right on target. Along with Wonder Years and WKRP. If anybody could get that done it would be Shout! Many of us would pay a much higher price for all three of those to get them uncut.
I really miss that one. All the unique music would need to be intact...but I just loved that one growing up. When I was little I thought that "Eddie" was the same one on The Munsters. :D
Yep, good sales is so important here. I'd love Shout! to pick up stuff like Courtship of Eddie's Father, etc. Shows that are just sitting in storage somewhere.
My big hunk 'o Beav is on the way! Hang in there Gary. It's been a long haul...maybe just a little longer. Ward would set you down and explain that better than anybody here could.
Was that collection the Calvin and Hobbs set? I know that one prices up there that way. Just trying to pinpoint how jealous I should be. :) I'm not checking mine. They'll get it to me and I'll be very happy.
Well damn. Those are nice pictures. Last time I saw what The Beav & Wally looked like it was in that silly but fun 80s beach movie homage Back to the Beach. At least I think that was it. And Eddie is such a jerk, not looking all that old and junk. And Lumpy is still Lumpy! Mr...
Well, I was going to do something LiTB inspired and post a picture of a "spanking machine" (from a fav childhood episode of mine), but after googling for a picture with those words I changed my mind. How times have changed! I don't believe Mr. Cleaver would approve of any of those pictures.
@Jeff. All this and single sided too. I can't see any negative about this purchase. @Joe. I think you have to start on the 10% page. Then you put The Beave in your cart. Then you enter that code (B8R4A7B code). That should do it. ...keep trying...
It didn't for me Jeff. Everything looked good. I got an order notice for the new one and a cancellation notice for the old. I was a bit worried something would come up later. B&N might not want to sell these this low. Hopefully there would still be time to reorder at $108 if that...
Mike, I really am a dummy. I was pasting my B&N password in there. Everyone gets to thump me on the head with a knuckle. Other order canceled. My new total is $91.74 down from $108.55. This may be my favorite deal ever. Thanks Brian. Next, I'm expecting a coupon to get this free...
This ain't working for me. I know I'm not doing the steps right. :( If someone has a minute or 2, can they type out the steps on how a dummy can get this done? Thanks. :)
Gary, I think you're too conservative. Anything under $175 is one hell of a great price to me for this show...well, many would say $500 wouldn't be asking too much to finally get it! Heh heh! But in this market, we're all getting awesome deals on this classic show that looked as if it was...
B&N is $108.55 for me. Still, awesome deals from both. If DD could do a $89.99 thing like they did with Dick Van Dyke (and I love Lucy, which I missed) I'd certainly go with them. In fact, they can give me Lucy and the Beav for that and I"ll cancel B&N right now!!
Geez, I've been in nostalgia overload lately. This is such an awesome release.. Although I won't be buying it yet (gotta finish up something big first, probably Andy )...glad it's there for me. Btw, there's a link for a bootleg set of the show in the google advertising at the top of the...
That's a lot of visits from slimy Eddie Haskel!
I always forget that. When I really took a look at Gomer Pyle S1 I was so happy to discover this fact. I paid about $20 for all those episodes and the first couple of DVDs are worth that alone.
That web site is like a super neato extra in...
You and me both! It's especially tough during sales. deepdiscount had that 70s show AND Futurama for $89.99 each and the complete series Melinium DVD and Firefly BD at great prices. It was all I could do to keep my credit card hidden from myself. too many unopened shows and movies in my...
I like that one about the tub as well. Geewhiz, I haven't seen these in so long. The simple stories and delimmas will be such a breath of fresh air. I can't wait to get these. I may wait though since I'm working through Andy, Dick Van Dyke and just picked up S1 of Gomer. Just not enough...
Thanks Greg. Such a sudden shock. I hope that never happens again. I miss little Dusty.
I've since cleaned up the house and got a vaccinated adult dog from a nearby shelter. A lovable Landseer (and maybe Newfoundland mix). HERE'S A LINK TO HER PICTURE She's "Honey Bun" since she...
The other day I was thinking how great it would be to follow up Andy Griffith, with Dick Van Dyke then The Cleavers.
Great news for everybody here.
Now, how do I put it out there for Shout! to complete Flipper?
