Speaking of lack of stage presence -- how about Carrie Underwood?? She still can't move onstage and pretty much just keeps the mic on the stand and does that little semi-wiggle thing and pats her leg. She is drop-dead gorgeous but needs to learn to shake what her mama gave her :D

When I first heard the genre of tonight's show I cringed in anticipation... I think Blake did a d-d-damn-amn g-good j-j-j-job-ob-ob - not so sure about the others... was a tough night for all - even B-B-Blake-ake-ake but he seemed better suited to take on the Gibb Bros tunes. Da BeeGees are NOT...

At the risk of sounding like Paula -- I think they all did a very good job last night. Each performance had its merits -- yes even Jordin's -- although far from her best I still enjoyed it. Each performance had its flaws as well but overall a VERY solid night by all -- perhaps the most enjoyable...

Sounds like the "promoter's option" should have been used a few weeks previous... but then they would have lost all the "Sanjaya buzz"... guess they figured enough was enough... :)

Sanjaya was a trainwreck - utterly dreadful... and I have kinda liked his showmanship of late - but tonight he was worse than Jordin's dress (she sang great in spite of that gown that looked like it was made from leftovers from a Cristo exhibition) :laugh: Lakesha may be in trouble this week...
