We'll see I suppose. I mean it's probably debatable, but I thought Harry Potter & The Chamber of Secrets was better than the original. Darker, better action sequences, better special effects, more interesting story/characters and Warner Bros. was banking on COS to play "longer" than the...
Potter is also getting stiffer competetion with Die Another Day.
Catch Me If You Can is going to be a lot bigger than Ali, which was FOTR's biggest competetion.
DiCaprio. Hanks. Spielberg. (Jennifer Garner too, who is one of Hollywood's rising starlets).
Spielberg recently screened like...
Hey I love LOTR, I don't see Two Towers surpassing the original's box office take, however. It might open bigger, however.
I'm speaking from a causal film-goers POV. Harry Potter & COS was better than the first. Darker too. But I noticed a lot of moaning and complaining about the pacing and...

I'm happy about Signs' success. Unbreakable was a good film, I think that M. Night banked too much on the...
Wow, if Signs gets back to no.1 this weekend...that is extremely rare.
Night truly has some amazing box office successes, namely with Sixth Sense and Signs, in terms of staying power.
Episode III has to have some HEART to it, some intimicacy, some character believability to it for it to do any more box office than Episode II IMO.
I think audiences are tiring of the piss poor writing. Sure everyone sees it once, but the next week, they're off seeing some other movie.
Let...
