ILM made 14 new CGI shots for the DVD release you have to presume they are on the same masters used here. The jeep fall in ROTLA was the only visible one the others were all invisible fixes (like the cobra reflection) which have never been documented AFAIK.

Another amazon branch has the inside the packaging pictures up now! I hate that type of packaging it always wears out over time should have been slipcases for each movie. Looks as though the same Lucasfilm marketing gurus who did the Star Wars set are all over this one as well :(:rolleyes:

More info leaking on this. According to amazon japan the extra special feature in the collectors edition is apparently a 35mm film cell not sure thats worth the extra 15-20% on the price to me personally if thats accurate I will just buy the std edition...

Your not wrong after Star Wars OT Blurays its hard to trust Lucasfilm even though this is Spielberg as the director it appears after ROTLA they do not care as much for the other movies perhaps they do not need any restoration work on TOD+TLC but it would be nice to get some clarity on the matter...

Lucas will not do a commentary for these thats a given as he did not direct them. Most commentary's IMO are rubbish anyway a waste of disc space & needless reduction of AV bitrate. Best commentaries I ever heard were: Shatner/Nimoy on Star Trek4 (they were supposed to return for Trek5+6...
