Beautiful cinematography! One of the first 'Western' films to be made in Russia after the end of the Cold War.

Underrated film. Mel Gibson's company took it away from director Bernard Rose and cut about 40 minutes out of it. I'd love to see Warner Archive restore the film to its proper length. My favorite adaptation of the novel.

Yes, "The Naked Spur" for sure!!!!! And, the other four would be great as well. "The Year of Living Dangerously" would be right behind "The Naked Spur" for me.

It won't? I'm sorry to hear that. I must watch that film once or twice a year. The pace of it is incredible, even by today's standards. I see the DVD is $14.99 on amazon right now. The Flynn set is $87.95.
