Was the 'FOTRE' missing footage found just after the Miriam Special Edition DVD set was released in North America from the BFI vaults in London or elsewhere? I can't recall the length of what was found either. For some reason, I think it was around eight minutes. Update...

Where should I order "FOTRE" from? I have a gift card on amazon, but they told me if wouldn't work for the french store.

I recall from the DVD's that the various members of the member-states of the empire arriving at the German fort looked really overbaked. I guess that look has been continued on these blu-ray releases. Oh, well.

So, the special features likely won't play....um...I'll have to think about it.

So I'm safe to get it with my Sony blu-ray player? I doubt a better version will be released anytime soon.

Around the time of the Miriam Collection release of "FOTRE," there were stories of deleted scenes being found, but they weren't found in time to include on that release. Where are they now? How were they found? I think I recall reading something about the running time being eight minutes, but...
