I think Ming-Na's Mandarin is better than her Cantonese (I think I heard her speak Mandarin in some TV episode or movie in the past).

This show reminds of the syndicated shows like Mutant X in terms of tone and writing at times, and that's not a good thing.

I never got the early buzz for this show, and the pilot failed to light a fire under me. Will give it a few episodes, but I just can't quite get into it yet.

I have no major pre-conceptions about this show, at all. Avoided most of the promo stuff, with the exception of some of the commercials for it. So, I hope it'll be entertaining and not just genre fare.
