In the "that was kinda cool" department: In last night's episode, a Flash comic book was held up by Sheldon after coming back from the comic book store, and I happen to see the artist (Brian Stelfreeze) of the cover on a weekly basis at the Gaijin studio's figure drawing class on Tuesdays.

Those attending the HTF meet in October stayed at the hotel just 2-3 blocks north of that Fry's. I also took some photos with my Blackberry as surreptiously as possible as I didn't know if I'd get bounced out of there taking photos of all the cool stuff inside.
