A Few Words About A few words about...™ It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World -- in Blu-ray

In the absence of ultrawide screens IAMMMMW should play nicely on very big scope screens with proper vertical masking and curtains that actually close all the way down to get a proper roadshow experience. Not sure where these could be found, they seem to have become extremely rare.

Negative cleaning sounds interesting, did you get an idea how much the negative was used and how often it was cleaned during the period of the initial release? Yes they seem to have been very popular and obviously suited quite well for Cinerama theaters but it is rather unpleasant to see them...

Would you happen to know how many non-rectified prints were struck? Very true, watched Around the World for the fist time in 70mm and 30 fps this year and it is hard to believe that even though this looked so good 30 fps were basically abandoned for big Hollywood productions from that point on..

I am a bit surprised about the aspect ratio as IAMMMMW had an aspect ratio of almost exactly 2.76:1 when it aired on MGM HD. Looking forward to check it out!
