Gwen Stefani? That makes no sense to me. Stefani is unique in that she doesn't sound like anybody else --- it's not that the AI contestants can't sing well, but trying to sing Stefani songs appears to be a train wreck waiting to happen. I don't know... I can't picture Melinda doing...

I think Jordin was the best of the night, and I thought Lakisha's "Diamonds are Forever" rendition was awesome (I know I'm in the minority). Obviously, Melinda has a nice voice, but I find her songs boring. I wish she would do something more modern like a Whitney song.

I couldn't help but laugh when Sanjiya started singing and they showed that little girl crying. I think Gina will go home tonight... although Sanjiya should.

I'm not a big fan of Blake but I liked what he did with the song. My favorites were Lakisha, Melinda and Blake. I have a feeling Stephanie is going to go the route of LaToya from a few seasons back - back song choices and not enough personality.

Sundance should have known not to mess with a rock oriented song (remember what booted Constantine?) It doesn't matter how popular you are, but if you really, really butcher a popular rock song, you're going to go.

Umm, how can I sum up that "Jeremy" performance except with one word.... BRUTAL Man, I thought the judges were going to really give it to him, but they were actually kind. But MAN oh MAN, am I the only one who thought that was horrible?

I have to disagree with this point. Leslie was clearly one of the weak female singers. I don't remember a season with as many powerful female voices. As for AJ, I'm not impressed with any of the guys so it's a wash as far as that goes for me. I'm not convinced that one won't impress me down...
