The past 7 or 8 weeks of big releases have been a gold mine of deals at Costco. Indiana Jones, ET, Promethius 3D/2D, Avengers 3D/2/D, Cinderella, Titanic 3D/2D, The Hunger Games 3D/2D, Classic Monsters, James Bond 50th Anniversary set and The Masterpiece Hitchcock set.

Recently, with big box sets like these, I just wait till release day and check on Costco first. They've been really good and competitive. In this case, they crushed the competition.

Just to be sure I understand you, you mean they went to masters for the blu ray as the screen cap I posted is from the velvet box Masterpeice Collection.
It was a pleasure to see this film again, I held off waiting for the blu-ray. The jazzy score is fun too.
The credits do appear bad. But has it always looked that way? I'm no expert as to how the titles originally looked, but I took a screen cap of Rear Window from the Masterpiece Collection DVD set.

Kevin's early review thread is inaccessable. So I thought I'd post here. IIRC, in Kevin's early review, he commented about an issue with the red misalignment during the credits. It caused a very bright red outline to be visible around each letter. I just popped in the DVD from the Velvet box...
