Just noticed a Star Wars newsletter in my email. They have two articles of interest.

Nice appreciation article in the Washington Post today. This should be one of my gift articles this month.
In praise of ‘The Bad Batch,’ the most Star Wars Star Wars project ever

Hard to believe it will end next week. There seems to be too much to do in one episode to be a satisfying finale. Looking forward to seeing what happens.
The season finale did not proceed as I expected, though it basically ended in one of the ways I expected.
I had expected Cid to betray them and tell the Empire that they were on Pabu and then we would have had a big confrontation there. It was surprising that it all played out quite...
I think they were upset that Cid was going to let them stew for an unknown amount of time stranded without their ship. In the Wookieepeidia page for "Metamorphosis" it says, " Omega and Wrecker chastise Ciddarin Scaleback for not helping them after they lost their starship during a mission to...
I was thinking that they were going to use Crosshair to go after Omega who is needed to be dangled in order to convince the Kamino cloner to assist the Empire. I think that would make more sense than using Crosshair as bait but we'll see.
Another good episode tonight. I was surprised to see a Crosshair centered episode so early in the season. I had expected more episodes with the main group first. Some interesting developments here.
It doesn't look like it. I did a search on "postponed Bad Batch Season 2" and there is an article saying that The Bad Batch is not listed among the list of Disney+ September releases. No real info in the article, but speculation that it might directly follow Andor’s finale on November 23. Or...
I enjoyed the previous episode more, this felt like more of a denouement. I also felt it looked a bit dark and had some trouble distinguishing things.
Overall, I enjoyed the season and am looking forward to seeing where they go from there.
I really do wonder
Chopper still has character there.
This was a great episode tonight. I don't think I expected them to follow-up on last week's episode right away. If you don't know anything about Rebels, then last week's episode was just a setup for this week's. Together the two episodes work really well.
If this interview is still correct then Star Wars: The Bad Batch will consist of 16 episodes (in season 1). So, 6 more to go after today's release. The interview was from the time of the premiere.
