I'm old enough to remember when my hometown Minneapolis newspaper had a morning edition (Tribune) and an evening edition (Star). I consider my Newspapers.com subscription to be a basic necessity!
I buy most of my DVD/BDs online these days. However, when I'm actually at a b&m store for something else, I'll usually scan the shelves. Sometimes I find something I hadn't thought about and will buy it. But yeah, the selection just gets smaller and smaller every year.
The only Dallas flippers of mine that had issues (freezing, etc) were the early seasons (like, 1-5). I don't remember the picture being too bad on the later flippers, but it's been awhile since I viewed them. This is the main series in my collection that's crying out for a single-sided release!
Thanks for the info, guys. I'm still a little bit behind on buying both shows. It'd be a shame if they just stopped after all the time many of us have invested watching them so far.
I'm also hoping for single-season releases. I'd hate to double dip just to get the last two seasons, although "going back for seconds" would be most appropriate for Cannon!
