Thanks Dan... I think the Tumult could be the best (worst) example yet of people blowing drivers because they couldn't hear distortion. I can only imagine how much sound it was producing when the VC died. Danny R, I think the point of the Tumult was to provide absurd power/low distortion...

I can understand how it might be hard to detect distortion when the voice coil nears its thermal limits. But unless this happened at a very high level, the driver could have been defective. That would also be understandable. But, I'm guessing Jeff just didn't realize how much sound he was...
