After reading George's post I actually checked my "yellow spine" copy of YF and it too is non-anamorphic. Since there are two spine colors out there it really seems like Fox put some of the old discs in the older cover and threw it into the set and then put some of the older discs in the set...

I bought a set today at Best Buy and the spine color is certainly the way to tell. They had around ten sets on the shelf and all but one had the yellow spined YF.

My buddy's up watching the ballgames with us and he brought his copy of YF. It certainly is NOT anamorphic. It's the exact same disc as the older one right down to the UPC and everything else on the packages. I sampled SILENT MOVIE and it looks great though.

Looking at the two screenshots, they appear to be different transfers. I'm guessing some of the sets ended up with the older version? This happened at Anchor Bay once before so I guess it's possible.
