Paul, I saw parts of Return on AMC, and the PQ is exactly the same (with the major exception of being fullscreen) as the dvd (it was easy to tell this because the end credits cut to widescreen, and it looked exactly like the artisan dvd.

Mike, Return of the Pink Panther is definitey 2.35:1 (I've seen enough movies to tell the difference between that and 1.85:1). As far as I know, any 2.35:1 movie should look the same (ratio wise) on a 4x3 television (which I have), anamorphic or not.
