I, too thought the British version of the show was much better. The British version had a much better ending to the series than the US version, as well.

I'm still not sure what to make of the ending of this series. Since I had already seen the conclusion of the BBC version of Life On Mars, this ending was, to say the least, very unexpected.

I really liked last night's episode and especially liked the appropriate song at the end of the episode.

I also figured the show wouldn't last more than one season. I am getting tired of the so-called "reality" shows that are dominating the networks. Thankfully we have some choices for scripted programs on cable networks.

Another great use of period music in last night's episode. I loved the Beach Boys song at the end from Surf's Up. The only time I have heard songs from this album used was in Almost Famous.

Actually in UK it ran for 12 episodes, in two 6 episode seasons.
