Well, to be honest, I also ordered the "import" version at Amazon.ca: http://www.amazon.ca/exec/obidos/ASI...208696-9333914 I ordered it with the Extended LOTR:TTT set to make the order eligible for a CAD 10,- off coupon (here), so I'll have both sets for a nice price. :D

Couldn't it also be that there isn't any English dialogue recorded for the additional Italian scenes? Thanks for the info, Mr Blythe.

No original mono track on the PAL release? I think I'll wait for the R1 version.
