    Is the Saruman footage recycled from FOTR still in there? That always struck me as very sloppy.

    Although the disc plays fine on my Sony, it freezes up repeatedly on my Malata N996....which generally handles problem discs with ease. Oh well. I guess that's why i have multiple players.

    Last year Best Buy had the FOTR gift set during release week for $49.99, so with the $10 coupon it was downright reasonable. I'm hoping they'll repeat that. I'm not really interested in going above that amount for the figurine, though the other extras sound interesting at least.

    Re 1 film vs 3: I'm sympathetic with the notion that this is a single film, and was certainly conceived that way, but I also have to say that I frequently distinguish between the 3 volumes of the book in the same way: I love FOTR but think TTT is the weakest book for a variety of reasons...
