Hi Jeramy, I did re-calibrate with the internal tones. THat's where I got pretty much all 0.0 but the center was -2.5. The surrounds are in the exact same spot as the previous speakers so I do not think that positioning is a factor. Marc

Mike, I agree with you about Goodwins. They are actually called Spearit sound now. I bought my N804s, CDMSNTs, and my two rotel amps there. Sometimes they can be a little tight (on price) but they know their stuff. Marc (oh boy! I am going to get my AVM20 back TOMORROW!!!)

Update, My AVM20 was shipped out either Friday or today to my dealer. I hope by some miracle that it reaches my dealer tomorrow so my sister in law can pick it up for me on her way from Maine to our house. or at least return the loaner on her way home Wednesday. Marc Anthem ROCKS!

Hey Chas, I have found it useful with DD mono soundtracks and and soundtracks that were originally mono but adapted to stereo. I have played them in say DPLII and everything seems to be in the center channel. Switing to mono smooths it out a bit. Marc

Hi All, Sadly, I dropped the AVM20 off at my dealer on Saturday and got a loaner (H&K AVR320 not bad at all). Very sad. Boy I hope SF can fix it quick. The H&K is difficult to operate/setup compared to the ease of the AVM20. Sound is not bad but it is no AVM20 by any means. waiting.... Marc
