    Considering that the producers practically embarass themselves year after year by begging and pleading with Billy Crystal to host the show, I think they like "The Billy Crystal Show" approach.

    They did the same thing with the Golden Globes: "...winner of XX Golden Globe nominations...." Very tacky, then to add that "best picture" comment onto that.... :rolleyes:I would think they'd get spanked by AMPAS.

    He's probably sourcing the same material as my local radio station. They announced this AM that "for the first time they could remember, there are six nominees for 'Best Picture.'" They then listed the five real nominees with "Cold Mountain" as the sixth. :rolleyes
