Yeah, I seem to be running on the same train of thought as others. No one character or story thread really stood out for me yet I watched the entire show. Maybe because its so atmospheric, I dunno. Must be the pretty woman quotient. Love the opening credits and song though.

I'm still watching it and still ambivalent. The idea of vampires going mainstream is cool and should be explored more. My biggest problem is that there is not one character on the show that I can root for.

Vampires crying blood is nothing new. I tend to believe Sam is a lycanthrope of some type. He seems to be able to communicate with the dog.
