    Well if there is any historical precedent, its that Pioneer was still making laserdisc players until as late as seven years ago(!), a decade plus after every major studio ceased supporting the format. So hardware may still be out there but the software will have completely dried up.

    Creed 3D appears to have been quietly reissued in a handful of markets in the format. People who've seen it says it looks terrible so it might have be rejected initially for QC.
