I agree with Mike in his spoiler exactly. Not seeing Archer's big speech after they were building it the entire episode was just abysmal. Trip's death was just utterly ridiculous, and I feel bad for Connor. He got shafted real hard. On a side not I REALLY wished that Comcast (in NJ) had come...
For those interested, I found Enterprise season 2 for $86 with free shipping. I found it in the most unlikely of places: http://www2.newegg.com/Product/Produ...097360569742DV For some odd reason they don't have season 1. :frowning:
I listened to the podcast commentary and the writer said they had to get Cromwell and the Vulcan actor to agree to let them use their likeness. I thought that kind of odd since Paramount owns Trek, but that's what they said. He also said that Cromwell and the other guy were very gratious and did...
Anyone else having problems with startrek.com? The front page shows the next episode as March 11th. I tried to go get the podcast commentary but the page to DL it, won't stay open.
I second that! My one small gripe with this ep, is that if Cochran killed the Vulcans where were the TNG crew? Wouldn't they have stopped it? Just wondering really. When Trip first turned to the camera to reveal his scar, it reminded me of older John Connor from T2.
Wow I guess I'm the only one who felt this didn't "feel" like Trek. Just felt like a T&A ratings stunt (although now they don't even care). And what's with Trip switching ships, then switching back? What CO would authorize that? I love the show but this one just didn't do it for me. I see UPN...
Maybe the finale will be some sort of reconstruction as to what the future thought happend. Maybe some sort of accident wiped out records from that time. That would explain the lack of evidence of the Xindi, the lack of knowledge about the Klingons, Borg, Romulans, etc.
Can we start discussing episodes and leave out the personal attacks? Let's try to get things back on track. Looks like we have repeats until sometime in April. :frowning: I sure wish Comcast would add UPN to my lineup. I'd love to see Enterprise in HD before it goes.
No the whole Malcom thing is out of the blue and just seems way out of place. This whole episode seemed rather hokey but I'll reserve judgment until I've seen the whole story.
Thanks for the link guys. I already have an autographed photo of Marina and Micheal from a convention in AC about 10 years ago. Maybe I can get the rest.
The only thing Paramount understands is money. So if you want to help save the show go out and buy Enterprise Season 1 on DVD. If the sales are through the roof they'll have to at least consider doing something.
And here comes the bad news:
Here's the link: http://trekweb.com/articles/2005/02/...1ceb7c2a.shtml This is just terrible, because Babel One was a darn good ep.
I wish they'd just give her a uniform and get out of the stupid cat suits. She already has rank pins and the Enterprise logo patch on her suits. Just give up the T&A and put her in a Starfleet Uniform.
I finally watched the season premiere this morning. It was decent but I will be glad when the TCW is over. It's pretty much screwed with continuity enough, and I'll be glad to get back to the exploration part of the show. I'd like to see more first contact with species that were introduced in...
